Cricketer Cup 1st Round - 16 June 2013

OMT commence their 2013 Cricketer Cup Campaign against Haileybury Hermits at Sandy Lodge on Sunday 16th June at 11.30 am. The match will be played on the OMTCC 1st X1 ground, and complimentary coffee, tea and biscuits will be offered from 10.00 am until Noon. A pay bar will be available from Noon, and complimentary afternoon tea will be offered during the 2nd innings. OMT’s team is again led by captain Jawwad Rasheed, and they are keen to avenge a heavy first round defeat at Haileybury in 2008. Match previews, team news, frequent match updates, reports and other features will again be available on the OMT Cricketer Cup Blog. As always, OMT appeal to our “13th man” - our large and loyal band of much appreciated supporters - to attend the match at Sandy Lodge in good numbers, with of course the traditional picnic basket (and odd bottle!). The winners of this 1st round tie are drawn to play away to the winners of the 1st round tie between Old Cliftonians and Uppingham Rovers in the 2nd round on 30th June.
