2023 Competition
The OMT blog has become redundant now that scores are published live on Play-Cricket.
OMT are playing Old Tonbridgians in the first round on Sunday, 11th June, at Tonbridge School. The match is due to start at 11.30am and we are hoping for a very good turnout of supporters. Please do come along if you are in the area.

Without meaning any disrespect to Old Cheltonians who batted sensibly and fully deserved to win, this was a game OMT should never have lost. A score of 332 was a huge total even on a pitch with a flat wicket and lightning fast outfield. Sadly OMT let themselves down in the field, ruing at least six or seven dropped catches and a missed runout. They say catches win matches and if OMT had taken a couple of the chances in the first half of the OC innings, the outcome would likely have been different. Anyway, it’s another step forward and an important lesson learnt (hopefully).
Good luck to Old Cheltonians in the next round.
