OMT lost the toss and Malvernians chose to bat.  Not unexpected - the wicket is hard, dry and flat with plenty of small cracks.  The temperature is also rising rapidly.

JC and Sohan to open the bowling.  Not a lot to trouble the batsmen in the first few overs.  One or two get past the bat and a few runs flow down to fine leg.  The ball races away over the outfield.  The sense is that OMT will have to bowl and field really well on a day like this.
